Date and Time¶
The Date and Time component displays the current date and time as a dynamic timestamp that updates each time the report is generated.
Configuration¶
Configure the date and time display with these options:

| Date Format | Select from predefined formats to display date only, time only, or combinations - see text formats for available options |
Standard text styling options (font, color, size, spacing) are available in the properties panel.
Use Cases¶
- Report timestamps - display generation time in headers or footers for documentation purposes
- Current date labels - show today's date on invoices, statements, or time-sensitive reports
- Time-based documentation - automatically timestamp reports for audit trails
